Visit 40 locations during the 2017 Studio Crawl
Artists in the Fargo-Moorhead area are welcoming the public into their studios as the Fargo-Moorhead Visual Artists presents its fourteenth annual Studio Crawl. The free event is October 7 and 8, noon to 6 p.m., and includes the studio of Scott Seiler Photography (#27). Seiler is a fine art landscape photographer who is a life-long resident of North Dakota. More than 75 artists in 40 studio locations will demonstrate their processes and show their work, including established artists, educators, and emerging artists. Many will serve refreshments. Studio Crawl maps are available at the Plains Art Museum, from participating artists, and on the FMVA web site at fmva.org. The map will also be printed in the September 28 issue of the High Plains Reader. All studio locations are marked with bright red signs. The FMVA is a volunteer organization of nearly 200 visual artists and art supporters. The group promotes and encourages artists and the visual arts in the Fargo-Moorhead area through group art exhibitions, social events, guest artist talks and artist critiques.
